Café Bistro Jöckel

Enjoy our homemade cakes and pies, as well as our coffee specialties in a cozy atmosphere, with a fantastic view of the Nieder-Mooser-See.Likewise, we offer small hot and cold dishes. Our café/bistro has room for about 60 people. The beer garden with lake view has 100 seats in a dreamlike atmosphere.

Heather sheep breeding

For more than 20 years now, our family has been breeding Heidschnucken, which are originally native to the Lüneburg Heath, in the Vogelsberg. It started back then with 20 Heidschnucken and to this day we have a herd of over 500 animals. They are lovingly raised by our family. Since the meat of the Heidschnucke with his wildbretarigem taste enjoys ever greater popularity, we would like to take this as an opportunity to introduce to you the Heidschnuckenfleisch. Heidschnuckenfleisch has game character, it is dark and low in fat and must not be confused with lamb meat. It is biologically perfect and is excellent as a diet food.Heidschnuckenfleisch is healthy, tasty meat. When you visit our restaurant, you can see for yourself.
